The heat pump unit is installed outdoors. During the extremely cold winter, it is very necessary to take anti-freezing measures! This not only ensures the stable operation of the system and improves the comfort of heating, but also avoids unnecessary economic losses. Come and have a look! 

1. Check if the water system is functioning properly 

① Clean the filter: To prevent the filter from getting clogged, use a tool to remove the filter screen from the Y-type filter in the system for cleaning. After cleaning, reinstall it. 

② Water pressure: Check whether the water pressure value is normal. The normal water pressure range is 1-3 kilograms. If the water pressure exceeds this range, it is abnormal and the water pressure needs to be adjusted. If the water pressure value is 0, it indicates that the water system is not receiving sufficient water supply, and further water supply is required. If the water pressure value exceeds 3 kilograms, it means the water pressure is too high. In this case, the water supply valve needs to be closed, and some water can be discharged through the排污 valve or safety valve to adjust the water pressure value to within the range of 1-3 kilograms. 

③ Exhaust: Check if the automatic exhaust valve is in the open position. If it is closed, it should be opened. 

④ If the system is not used for a long time or experiences a prolonged power outage, the water in the water system must be drained completely (the water system with antifreeze does not need to be drained), to prevent the equipment from freezing and cracking. 

2. The main unit requires continuous power supply 24 hours a day. 

The main unit must be kept powered on for 24 hours to preheat the compressor lubricating oil thoroughly, ensuring the smooth operation of the main unit when it is turned on. 

② During winter, keep the equipment powered on. Whether it's commercial equipment or household heating and cooling devices, they must not be turned off when they are not in use or when no one is around. This is because all the equipment is equipped with anti-freezing protection functions. Once the power is cut off, the anti-freezing function will fail. Keeping the equipment running ensures that the water system does not freeze and crack. 

III. After turning on the machine, observe whether the water pump is operating normally. 

After starting the main unit, check if the water pump is operating and listen for any abnormal sounds during its operation. Also, observe if the remote controller shows any faults. Check if the display on the panel shows the correct temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water (for floor heating, the normal range is 5-8℃). If it exceeds 5℃, it is abnormal and you need to check if there is any problem with the water path. 

4. Check whether the air outlet of the main unit is blocked or has poor ventilation. 

The area around the unit should be kept well ventilated. If the air outlets are blocked or there are obstructions around the unit, it will affect the heat exchange capacity and may even cause the main unit to shut down due to protection. 

V. Check if the evaporator needs cleaning. 

After the main unit has been running for a period of time, the fins are inevitably clogged with dust and other debris, which affects the heat exchange efficiency and reduces the heating effect while increasing energy consumption. Therefore, generally speaking, after the unit has been running for 6 to 12 months, the fin heat exchanger should be cleaned. When the surrounding environment is highly polluted, the cleaning cycle should be shortened.
